Bible Studies

MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES are unique in that they are one of the few chances for us to take time to digest the topic before us. Those opportunities allow us to study texts in their original Greek and Hebrew languages, to accurately interpret biblical verses, to ask questions, and for participants to share their insights. The studies are on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 and Wednesday evenings at 6:00.

WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US IN THESE STUDIES. When you do, you will be pleasantly surprised that these studies are:

Ecumenical: Our participants represent seven community churches from different denominations and races. Several community pastors attend from time to time and are glad to share their insights.

Well prepared: Most of our studies are based on scholarly written articles by pastors and professors who have obtained their PH.D, TH.D, or D. Min. The studies are comprehensive and detailed (i.e. carefully interpret every part of the text.)

Down to earth: the participants are seated around a central table in the fellowship hall. They are casual and at ease with each other. Sharing by participants is voluntary; no one is asked by name to answer questions or share insights.

Orderly: We begin and end on time. Our study sessions are not more than 75 minutes each.

Lightly humorous: As participants share experiences applicable to what we read or learn, they are mostly humorous and insightful in their approach.

Practical: Each lesson gives us participants, ways by which to apply what we are learning in our daily living.

Spiritual: Participants are frequently sharing how several of the studies helped them deal with issues they were facing, difficult relationships they encountered, questions they couldn’t answer, and personal attitudes.

Nothing would delight us more than having you join us on this wonderful journey of faith combining different denominations and races. For more information or for questions, please contact us by e-mail or by phone.
