Operation Christmas Child

xmaschildA very special thanks to those who packed the beautiful shoeboxes for the Operation Christmas Child project.  Your boxes are really appreciated and will reach a child somewhere in the world with gifts of love, and the gospel of Jesus Christ in the child’s own language.

We thank you again for  your gifts of love.

Youth News – July 2016

sym_logoIt has been an exciting couple of months of ministry for the youth and children here at Starkdale.  The Starkdale youth helped out at the Vacation Bible School and did a great job. In addition to supporting Bible School, SYM students have also been participating in the STRONG Youth Anti-Drug coalition.

The Allegheny Angels performed at the Rising Stars Music Night, and at the Hometown Talent Concert here in Steubenville.  May all of us be as the scripture says “salt and light” (Matt.5:13-16) wherever we go so that people see “Christ in us, the hope of glory”. Colossians 1:27

Youth News – April 2016

A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR BOBBYJON BAUMAN

It has been a busy month of ministry.  Some exciting events included the Abigail’s Angels fundraiser Concert, with 250 in attendance. Over $5,500, was collected and donated to the RDH12 Fund for Sight. A Teen Depression, Self-Injury and Suicide night at Starkdale, featuring Lisa Ward of the Coleman Counseling Services was well-attended. It has also been a blessing to see many of our youth outside of the normal youth ministry times at the FCA clubs and other sporting events. I also spoke to 25 Cub Scouts from Pack 415, and their parents, about Christianity and the Presbyterian Church.
