VBS 2016 Recap

vbs2016Barnyard Roundup was a wonderful time of learning about Jesus. Each day was a blessing. The five teaching Bible lessons were:

Day 1 – Jesus is the Good Shepherd, Jesus cares now and forever. Day 2 – Jesus Feeds 5000 People, Jesus provides now and forever. Day 3 – Jesus Tells about a Sower, Jesus leads now and forever. Day 4 – The Prodigal Son, Jesus forgives now and forever. Day 5 – Jesus Appears to Mary in the Garden, Jesus is our Savior now and forever.

The children learned how graciously Jesus gathers us together with His abundant provision and saving protection, now and forever. The music, opening, and closing activities were all focused around these lessons. The crafts and games were exceptional, and the snacks that our kitchen helpers provided were really, really, great!
